Coach Jeremy Taylor

​

Coach Taylor is a 1994 graduate of Hurricane High School.  After high school he went on to get his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia State University and his Master's in Education and Administration from Marshall University.

​

Jeremy Played football for Hurricane from 1991 - 1994 where he earned 1st Team All MSAC and 2nd Team All State honors.  His proudest moment was being part of the first team in Hurricane history to win a playoff game.  After high school Jeremy played at West Virginia State University.

​

Prior to becoming head coach of Hurricane High in 2012, Jeremy was an assistant there from 1996 to 2009.  From 2010 to 2012 he was the head coach at Hurricane Middle.  These experiences all prepared him to lead the Redskins to a 31-24 record under his guidance.  Additionally, he has mentored two 1st Team All State players and there are currently seven former Redskins on college rosters today.

Aside from being head coach at Hurricane Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family.  He is happily married to Carly Taylor and together they have four children Tiana, Treven, Levi and Lennox.
