Parents and Volunteers help to get Redskins' Stadium looking good


Several parents gave up their Saturday morning to participate in the annual field clean -up around Redskins Stadium.

The following was posted by Kelli Ross on the Hurricane Redskins website:

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE FOOTBALL PARENTS THAT CAME OUT THIS MORNING TO CLEAN THE FIELD!! Dana Womack, Jerry Kudlak, Jennifer Kimble,Tessa Griffith,Tyler Griffith, Angie Clark-Allawat,Shawn Allawat, Bryn Brown, Matt Brown ( and his tractor), Mike and Dana Dana Lykins Fleener, Tammy Midkiff,Cheryl Green, Crystal Moody Tolley,Donna Roy,Angie Hager,Erica and Bob Tiley, Lance and Angela Engel, Teresa Theresa Caggiano Cooper, Harold Cooper, Jerry and Jamie Casto Bielinski,Chris Leachman,Donna Westfall and the football players plus other HHS students that volunteered their time. These people worked nonstop for 6 hours to mulch, pull weeds, pick up trash and clean bathrooms. We had the best turn out!!!The facility looks amazing!!! Coaches and students of ALL sports using the facility please be respectful and have all trash thrown away at the end of all practices. Thank you and thanks again to HHS FOOTBALL PARENTS❤️🏈❤️

Both Kelli and Jennifer Kimble agreed that it was one of the best turn outs in years and gave particular kudos to Senior and Freshman parents.

There was a practice going on, but since I was face down in mulch, I have nothing to report on today's session.
